★Author: PENNY WU
Born in Yunlin and currently residing in Taipei, the author holds a degree from the Graduate Institute of Library and Information Studies at National Taiwan Normal University, with a minor in Special Education focused on children with hearing impairments. With over a decade of experience in the software and information services industry, the author is also passionate about design trends, novelty items, and photography, frequently sharing culinary shots on social media.
As a parent of two sons, the author created " The Giant’s Toe-tally Big Trouble!" to entertain the elder son who loves bedtime stories but resists toenail trimming. The story proved effective with other children, leading to its publication with the encouragement of the author’s spouse. This book aims to help children who dislike toenail trimming and to offer parents an easy, engaging tool for reading together.
★Illustrator: FROG CHANG
Born and raised in Taichung, the illustrator has had a lifelong passion for picture books and drawing. Despite not receiving formal training in art and design, she graduated from the Department of Cultural Resources at National University of Tainan, where she took numerous art courses to hone her skills and deepen her understanding of various media and art history.
Currently working as a freelance contractor, the illustrator primarily designs posters and promotional materials, with a particular interest in illustration. She lives with three cats and are grateful to the author for the creative freedom provided in this project.
